Our Next PBPK Event

The Second International PBPK Conference will bring together a global community of researchers, clinicians, regulators, and industry scientists united by a single science: Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic modeling.

Over four days, we expect more than 40 speakers from leading institutions across academia, industry, and regulatory agencies — including the FDA, EMA, and MHRA — will share their latest findings, debate open questions, and forge new collaborations. From drug–drug interactions to special populations, from biologics to innovative computational approaches, the programme will reflect the full scientific breadth and ambition of the PBPK community. This is not just a conference. It is a statement: PBPK science has come of age.

20-23 April 2027 · Novartis Campus, Basel.

What to expect

Four days of science, 20–23 April 2027 — A full programme built around the questions the field is actually wrestling with, not a parade of overviews.

  • 40+ speakers from academia, industry and the regulators — Including the FDA, EMA and MHRA, in the room and on the platform.

  • Direct regulatory dialogue — Dedicated sessions where you can put your questions to the agencies rather than read their guidance second-hand.

  • The full breadth of PBPK — drug–drug interactions, special populations, biologics, and the computational approaches reshaping how models are built and qualified.

  • A poster session at the heart of the programme — showcasing early-career and emerging work, with a poster prize awarded.

  • Genuine networking time — the collaborations started in Basel are still running. The programme is designed to leave room for the conversations that matter.

  • One community, one forum — the only international conference dedicated solely to PBPK.
